PM Modi visits the “wonderful” Saira Banu and posts photos

<p>He added, “It was wonderful to meet Saira Banu Ji,” for the caption. Generation after generation has hailed her groundbreaking work in the film industry. We had a wonderful discussion on many different topics.</p>
<p>Saira Banu was the late great actor Dilip Kumar’s wife. In 1961, she made her acting debut in the film Junglee, starring Shammi Kapoor. Among many more brilliant movies, she stole the show with roles in Shagird, Sagina, Bluff Master, Ayee Milan Ki Bela, Padosan, and Bairaag. In 1988, “Faisla” was her last motion picture.</p>
