IND vs. SA: Deepak Chahar Isn’t Sure He Can Leave His Father In This Condition For The South Africa T20Is

<p>Due to a medical situation in his family, India’s bowler Deepak Chahar is doubtful for the next three-match Twenty20 International Series against South Africa. His father’s illness kept him out of the fifth Twenty20 International against Australia in Bengaluru, and he is still questionable for the African trip.</p>

<p>The quick bowler says he won’t leave his father like this to go overseas. During this difficult stage of his life, Chahar wishes to spend time with his father.</p>
<p>“We arrived to the hospital on time with him. It may have been harmful otherwise. Right now, his condition is improved. I was asked why I hadn’t played in the last Twenty20 international against Australia. My father is really essential to me. I am the player I am because of him. When questioned about his absence from the 5th T20I, Chahar told Sports Tak, “I cannot leave him in this condition and couldn’t go anywhere.”</p>
<p>According to Chahar, he won’t go to South Africa with the Indian team until his father is “out of danger.”</p>
<p>“For this reason, I’m remaining with my father, and I’ll go to South Africa as soon as he’s safe. I’ve had conversations with the selectors and Rahul (Dravid), sir. My father’s health is better right now,” the seamen said.</p>
<p>The Indian T20I squad, captained by Suryakumar Yadav, left Bengaluru on Tuesday night for South Africa. Chahar did not go with the team to South Africa.</p>
<p>The white-ball ball team that will face South Africa in three T20Is and as many ODIs has Chahar on it. Chahar was named to India’s team for the last T20I match against Australia. He participated in the fourth Twenty20 International in Raipur before returning home to handle a health issue.</p>
<p>The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not yet disclosed the identity of the pacer’s replacement. On Sunday, December 10, at Durban, India will play South Africa in the maiden Twenty20 International.</p>
<p>The following players represent India in the three Twenty20 Internationals: Rinku Singh, Shreyas Iyer, Mohd. Siraj, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Jitesh Sharma, Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav (C), and Rinku Singh.</p>
<p>Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sai Sudharsan, Tilak Varma, Rajat Patidar, Rinku Singh, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul (C)(wk), Sanju Samson (wk), Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mukesh Kumar, Avesh Khan, Arshdeep Singh, and Deepak Chahar are the members of the Indian team for the three One-day Internationals.</p>
