After only two minutes, Bukayo Saka struck the woodwork and Martinelli’s rebound was saved off the line, giving Arsenal a quick start at Bramall Lane.

However, it did not take long for Arsenal to grab the lead. In the fifth minute, captain Odegaard scored the first goal after Rice cut back and tucked the ball into the bottom-right corner.

The gunners’ lead was increased by an own goal by Jayden Bogle. According to Premier League reports, Gabriel Martinelli’s deflected strike two minutes later had Sheff Utd goalkeeper Ivo Grbic caught off guard at the near post, making it 3-0. The Brazilian then got involved again in the 25th minute, winning the ball from Anel Ahmedhodzic to allow Havertz to score a fourth.

Before the half, Declan Rice scored his fifth goal, side-footing the ball past Grbic after Saka’s excellent wing play. Just before the hour, Ben White scored with a wonderful left-footed strike inside the area to extend the scoring in the second half.

After taking more than 20 shots in the opening 90 minutes, Arsenal became the first side in English league history to win three straight games by a margin of at least five goals, solidifying their legacy.
