Elvish clarified the situation live on social media site X on Saturday after the event. Even if many are calling for his arrest, Elvish said it’s important to hear the other viewpoint.

“You would have noticed that people have been tweeting against me on X ever since I went to Bigg Boss.” He has been bothering me for the last eight months. Thakur threatened to burn you and your family members alive in his statement. I spoke some hurtful things because I couldn’t stand it. After setting up a camera at his friend’s store, he contacted me to meet him there. Elvish responded, “This was planned in advance.” He concluded the video by expressing his readiness to assist with the inquiry and offering his apologies for the incident.

He has been sent a notice under Section 41A of the CrPC, which requires an appearance before a police officer, by the Gurugram police.

Elvish has received a note from us asking him to participate in the inquiry. Inspector Rajender Kumar, SHO of Sector 53 Police Station, said that further action will be taken in accordance with the law.
