Gold reaches a new high of Rs 67,450

<p>In line with robust worldwide trends, gold prices in the local market here jumped by Rs 1,130 to reach an all-time high of Rs 67,450 per 10 kilos, according to HDFC Securities.</p>

<p>According to Dilip Parmar, a research analyst at HDFC Securities, “spot gold prices (24 carats) in the Delhi markets are trading at Rs 67,450 per 10 grams, up by Rs 1,130 from the previous close.”</p>
<p>According to Parmar, central banks’ purchases and geopolitical concerns sustained Comex spot gold prices. Gold reached a record high as a result of the dollar’s sell-off after the US Federal Reserve’s rate-cutting announcement.</p>
