<p>Priyanshu Rajawat, Kiran George, and ace Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth all prevailed in their men’s singles Round-of-16 matches to go on to the quarterfinals late on Thursday night.</p>
<p>Sen was ousted by Lee in a 17-21, 15-21 defeat in only 38 minutes, while Sindhu fell to 17-year-old junior world champion Tomoka Miyazaki 21-16, 19-21, 16-21.</p>
<p>Top seed Lee Zii Jia of Malaysia was upset by Srikanth 21-61 21-15, while Lei La Xi of China was downed 21-14 21-13 by Rajawat. In a 71-minute match, George defeated Frenchman Alex Lanier 18-21, 22-20, 21-18, despite struggling against him.</p>
<p>Today, Australians Setyana Mapasa and Angela Yu defeated Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand in the women’s doubles match, 14-21, 15-21.</p>
